Welcome To Season 3 at Prestige Athletics!
Welcome To Season 3 at Prestige Athletics!
At Prestige Athletics, we offer multiple levels of competitive cheerleading. Here is a short breakdown of each of the classes we offer.
Novice Cheerleading
Novice Cheerleading is an amazing program that has been developed to introduce our new athletes to the incredible world of competitive Cheerleading! They will focus on the fundamentals of Cheerleading and leaning about teamwork and accountability. These athletes, aged 3.5-12, will practice once a week, and will perform in 3 mandatory events in the Edmonton area, and our local showcase. No overnight or out of province travel required. Season runs from September to April.
*UPDATED* Prep Cheerleading
The Prep Program is the stepping stone between Novice and Elite. It is built for those with previous experience on a Novice team, or have previous dance/gymnastics experience, but are not quite ready for the commitment of an Elite Cheer team. All Prep teams require all athletes to participate in Mandatory Team Placements (held in May). These athletes, aged 5-16, will practice once a week, and will perform in 4-5 mandatory events in the Edmonton/Red Deer/Calgary area, and our local showcase. Some overnight or out of province travel required. Season runs from June to April.
All Star Elite Cheerleading
All Star Elite Cheer is the ultimate competitive cheer experience! These teams practice 2-3 times per week and overnight and out-of-province travel will be required for some events. Previous tumbling or cheer experience is an asset, and strongly recommended. Choreography is advanced and will require some work done at home to stay on track. All Star Elite teams require all athletes to participate in Mandatory Team Placements (held in May). These athletes will participate in 5-6 mandatory events, and our local showcase. Overnight and out of province travel is required. Season runs from June-April.
*NEW* Pom Team
Pom is an energetic and dynamic style of dance that places emphasis on precise and synchronized arm movements, formations, jumps, and skills. Teams practice once per week, and travel may be required.
